Community Guidelines

These guidelines apply to all SiteSkills community spaces, including the SiteSkills platform, our Discord server, GitHub repositories, and any other official channels. By participating in the SiteSkills community, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Our Principles

The SiteSkills community exists to help people build, share, and discover AI browser agent skills. We want this to be a welcoming, productive space for everyone — from first-time creators to experienced developers.

Be Helpful

The strength of SiteSkills depends on a community that supports one another.

  • Share knowledge. If you know the answer to someone's question, take the time to help. Everyone was a beginner once.
  • Answer questions patiently. Not everyone has the same level of experience. Meet people where they are.
  • Help new creators. Offer guidance on skill creation, the template standard, and marketplace best practices.
  • Provide constructive feedback. When reviewing or commenting on skills, focus on specific, actionable suggestions rather than vague criticism.
  • Report bugs clearly. If you find a problem, describe what happened, what you expected, and the steps to reproduce it. Clear bug reports help everyone.

Be Respectful

A respectful community is a productive community.

  • No harassment. Harassment of any kind — including threats, intimidation, unwanted contact, or sustained disruption — is not tolerated.
  • No hate speech. Discriminatory language or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited.
  • No personal attacks. Disagree with ideas, not people. Critique the work, not the creator.
  • Respect creators' effort. Even if a skill does not meet your needs, remember that someone invested time in building it. Provide feedback respectfully.
  • Do not spam. Avoid repetitive messages, excessive self-promotion, or flooding channels with low-value content. Share your skills and projects, but do so thoughtfully.
  • Keep discussions on topic. Use the appropriate channels and categories for your messages. Off-topic content clutters conversations and makes it harder for others to find help.

Be Honest

Trust is the foundation of a healthy marketplace.

  • Do not manipulate reviews or ratings. Fake reviews, coordinated voting, review exchanges, or incentivised reviews are all violations. One genuine review per user per skill.
  • Do not misrepresent your skills. Your skill's title, description, and metadata must accurately reflect what it does. Misleading descriptions erode trust in the entire marketplace.
  • Report security issues responsibly. If you discover a vulnerability in a skill or in the SiteSkills platform itself, report it privately to an admin or email support@siteskills.ai. Do not disclose security issues publicly before they have been addressed.
  • Give proper credit. If your skill builds on someone else's work, acknowledge it. Respect intellectual property and open-source licences.

Discord-Specific Rules

In addition to the general guidelines above, the following rules apply specifically to the SiteSkills Discord server:

  • Use the right channels. Post questions in help channels, showcase skills in the showcase channel, and keep general chat in the appropriate areas.
  • No NSFW content. The Discord server is a professional community space. Keep all content appropriate for a general audience.
  • No unsolicited DMs. Do not send direct messages to other members for promotion, solicitation, or any unwanted contact. Engage in public channels instead.
  • Respect the moderators. Our Discord moderators are volunteers who keep the community running smoothly. Follow their instructions and do not argue publicly about moderation decisions. If you disagree, use the appeals process.
  • No spoilers or leaks. Do not share confidential or pre-release information about SiteSkills or any other product without authorisation.
  • Bot usage. Only use bots in designated channels. Do not abuse bot commands or use bots to disrupt conversations.

Platform-Specific Rules

These additional rules apply specifically to the SiteSkills marketplace and platform:

  • One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, manipulate reviews, or gain unfair advantages.
  • Accurate profiles. Your profile information should be truthful. Do not impersonate other individuals or organisations.
  • Respect rate limits. Do not attempt to circumvent API rate limits or abuse platform endpoints.
  • No automated abuse. Do not use scripts, bots, or other automated tools to manipulate the marketplace (mass downloads, fake installs, review manipulation, etc.).
  • Comply with target site terms. When creating skills that interact with third-party websites, ensure your skill respects the target site's Terms of Service. Users are ultimately responsible for compliance, but creators should not build skills that are specifically designed to violate other platforms' rules.

Consequences

We use a graduated enforcement approach. The severity of the response depends on the nature and frequency of the violation.

LevelActionWhen It Applies
1WarningFirst minor violation. You will receive a message explaining the issue.
224-hour muteRepeated minor violations after a warning. Temporary restriction from posting.
37-day suspensionSerious violations, or continued minor violations despite prior warnings.
4Permanent banEgregious violations (threats, malicious content, hate speech) or repeated serious offences.

For platform-specific violations (review manipulation, skill fraud, account abuse), enforcement follows the escalation path described in our Moderation Policy.

Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error:

  • File an appeal within 14 days of the action.
  • Contact support@siteskills.ai with your username, the action taken, and why you believe it was incorrect.
  • Your appeal will be reviewed by a different moderator or admin than the one who made the original decision.
  • You will receive a response within 7 days.

Appeal decisions are final unless significant new evidence is presented.

Reporting Violations

If you see behaviour that violates these guidelines:

  • On the platform: Use the in-app Report button on the relevant skill, review, or profile.
  • On Discord: Use the /report command or DM a moderator.
  • By email: Contact support@siteskills.ai with details and any supporting evidence.

All reports are reviewed confidentially. We do not reveal the identity of reporters to the person being reported.

Questions?

If you have questions about these guidelines or are unsure whether something is allowed, ask in the Discord #general channel or email support@siteskills.ai. We would rather answer a question upfront than deal with a violation after the fact.

These guidelines are effective as of February 2026 and may be updated periodically. Changes will be communicated through our Discord server and reflected on this page.
